Description

The SW202/SAA single drive motor starter has been developed for use below ground in gassy coal mines, primarily to control gate road belt conveyors.

The unit has built-in circuitry which can be selected to enable the main drive to be controlled independently or as part of a multi-motor sequence scheme.

A 5kVA 1100/550 Volt (typical) 3 Phase transformer is incorporated into the unit along with dedicated control and protection systems, for the operation of ancillary equipment. This includes loop winch, fines or scraper conveyor, scoop and brake thrusters, oil and cooling pumps, cooling fans, solenoid valves, small nuisance water pumps ventilation doors, etc.
