We are currently searching for a Systems Improvement Manager to join our professional Technology Services Team based at Tomago. This challenging and exciting role is pivotal to Ampcontrol at a time of expansion and sustained growth.

Your focus will be on identification, design and implementation of system improvement programs and processes in the use of Syteline, our chosen ERP platform. With up to date technical expertise you will support our businesses by ensuring maximum efficiency and benefit is obtained from ERP and other inter-related business systems in order to meet demand and strategic plans both nationally and internationally. You will also lead and mentor the ERP Support Team and identify training resources to drive customer focused initiatives.

Your biggest challenges in this role include:

  • Managing and executing multiple supporting projects and activities
  • Understanding and balancing the long term direction and goals of the business functions whilst aligning present and immediate improvement initiatives
  • Providing a high level of support to a diverse  group of Ampcontrol companies, with competing, and often conflicting demands
  • Maintaining effective relationships with users and vendors to ensure priority service is maintained

As the ideal candidate you will have gained at least eight years’ experience in a similar role, preferably in a manufacturing environment and have extensive operational experience. You will also have completed a relevant degree in business or IT and have demonstrated experience in managing, developing and mentoring a high performance team. Travel to other Ampcontrol facilities within Australia and occasionally overseas is a requirement of this position.  

This role is highly consultative in nature requiring you to be a conduit for information and action management/resolution regarding Syteline processes and improvements. You will have the support of technical expertise within the team and with our Syteline partner to support you achieving your objectives.
